Even better, they offer a free Newbie Class so you can see if it’s something you’d be interested in committing to or if you have two left hopeless feet. Either way, you’ll have a great time and put a real smile on your partner’s face.

The free class takes place every Friday at 7 pm; no reservations are required. Just walk in as a couple, let your inhibitions go, and have a great time. If you end up loving it, they’ll help you sign up for a class and time that works best for both of you!

Open since 2005, the Burrito Gallery has been dubbed classic JaxMex, where Jacksonville meets terrific Mexican food. It has a full bar relaxed atmosphere and is the perfect place to watch sports along the beach. It makes for a great lunch or dinner date before strolling the beach.

The Shrimp Tacos and Chicken Enchiladas come highly recommended, but feel free to branch out and try the Blackened Shrimp Dilla or Steak Chimmichurris. They also offer everything in tofu variety and are vegetarian and vegan friendly. They even have a Keto Taco!

If you’re fortunate enough to be in town for Jacksonville’s largest festival, it’s definitely an experience. The Springing the Blues Festival is an annual three-day event that takes place the first weekend of every April.

Entry is free, though there are plenty of pop-up shops to peruse and drinks to buy. It happens right on Jacksonville Beach, where the sand meets the land.

If you or your date love blues, you might want to orchestrate your entire stay around this festival and go year after year. It’s highly rated, and everyone who goes has a fantastic time.
