The service is second to none, and they’re well known for being the most romantic place in New Hope. As a small establishment, there’s only one waitress, so prepare to sit back, relax, pop your own wine, and enjoy delicious food. 

Amelia’s likes to keep things traditional when it comes to the food. They offer starters like Fennel and Mushroom with grana padano and lemon vinaigrette, Grilled Radicchio with mushroom, hazel nuts, and sherry vinaigrette, and Calamari Fritti, with entrees such as Scampi, Vongole, Fradiavolo, and a large variety of house-made pastas paired with amazing Italian sauces. 

This is the trendiest date night option on the list, so be sure to make reservations well in advance. The BYOB covers beer and wine, so bring a bottle or two of your favorites and enjoy a homemade Italian dessert at the end of your meal.

Their menu changes often enough that you’ll need to visit to see what’s on offer, but patrons assure us it’s worth the chance. 

This is the type of romantic establishment where the chef visits each table to ensure you’re happy with the meal. You’ll want to make reservations unless you want to risk ending up at the bar. Keep in mind that the Good Gyro is a to-go establishment. The owners are kind enough to bring your meal to you, but it doesn’t have restaurant-centric seating due to the location. This is a great place to grab a meal before perusing the Ferry Market.
