If you are a U.S Citizen you DON’T need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico! Just a government ID such as a driving license which you would use if you hopped on a flight domestically! (src)
This is a breath of fresh air for many U.S Travellers, as less then 40% U.S citizens hold a valid passport! This is crazy compared to countries like the U.K and Australia where that number is over 75%.
