Top Tips for an affordable Yoga Retreat
- Book in the off peak travel season. Indias High season is (November to February). Usually April to September offers better value & lower prices across the entire country.
- Opt for a short, intensive Yoga Retreat 3 day,7 day or 10 days.
- Book accommodation/Lodging separate. Some resorts offer the chance to be able to book alternative accommodation nearby & just come to the retreat for the yoga sessions. Which can give you a substantial cost saving.
However, be aware that meals are rarely included in these sorts of packages & you will also have to take into account the travel cost/time.
In my experience this works best for those which want to do 1-2 Yoga sessions a day and don’t wish to take part in early morning mediation, rituals and other activities on site.
