📍 Map it: 1801 Clover Ln, Cedar Park, TX 78613 | Phone: (512) 820-3636 | Website | Hours: Wednesday through Saturday 10AM-6PM, Sunday 12-6PM | Entrance Fee: $19.99 per Child under 18, One Adult Included

Built specifically for ages 1-10, Splash Shack in Cedar Park is a miniature indoor water park that offers maximum fun and adventure with slides and climbing structures. There are no pools and no water depths, so you needn’t worry about your kid knowing how to swim before heading that way!

There are a few things you should know before you go. First of all, everyone is going to end up soaking wet when they step inside the building. There is water spouting from every available surface, so don’t expect to go and sit on the sidelines while staying dry. Secondly, it’s always beach weather inside, so expect it to be warm and a tad humid regardless of the outside weather.

Third, you can’t bring any food or drinks, but you’re welcome to get some while you’re there. Fourth, no glass is welcome in the building due to the threat to little splashing feet. All of these rules equal a ton of fun for everyone!

They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday but open the rest of the week and offer season passes that include some pretty cool swag, like a Locals Club Tee for the kids, unlimited admission for one child and their accompanying adult, 50% off guest tickets, and discounts on everything inside.

One-time admission is only $19.99, and a parent or guardian is included in that price, so don’t feel too pressured to buy the season pass until you’ve all had the experience.

Since this is a smaller water park, it’s perfect for getting the kids out to play again and again without the theme park feel and giant crowds. Show up early, and you’ll have most of the place to yourself. Peak hours are after school and on weekends.

If your little one can't swim yet, no worries! They offer life jackets free of charge. The only downside to this incredible water park is the lack of seating for parents. Feel free to join your kids in the water, though. Make it a true family day out.

This water park is open all summer long, with fantastic events like fireworks shows, drone shows, outdoor movies, and more. Their attractions include the Riggamaroll, the Accelerator, Blue Sky, Thunder, Beachside Bay, Green Extreme, Purplepalooza, the Double Dipper, Tadpole Swimming Pool, the Viper, Endless River, Sidewinder, Splashatory, and the NRH2O Ocean.

Each attraction is so large it’s easy to find fun beneath the structures, especially in the Splashatory. You’ll find two hotels nearby, the Hilton Garden Inn and the Holiday Inn Express. It’s worth booking at least one night if you don’t live in the area. If it rains, no worries! Thankfully, they offer rain checks if the park needs to close due to the weather.

The resort was recently redesigned to provide the best experience in Texas. You still have the Original section of Schlitterbahn Waterpark, with six tubing adventures, eight different attractions perfect for the littles, and seven insane rides that each offers the thrill of a lifetime. You also have easy access to the ten original dining options and tons of gift shops.

Now, though, they’ve added the double East sections, Surfenburg and Blastenhoff, each of which has its own Tubenbach. At the Surfenburg, you’ll find four high thrill rides, six fun and accessible attractions, and two insane tubing experiences, along with six places to eat and three places to shop. At Blastenhoff, you’ll find three more nerve-wracking rides, several fun and daring slides, and even more places to grab a bite to eat!

If you’re planning a few days or more at a water park, this is the place to go. The accommodations vary widely, so you’ll find exactly what you need for you and your crew to have the best vacation ever.
