Maya Bay in Thailand:This is where the Leonardo Dicaprio Movie “The Beach was filmed” Since then excessive tourism has causing the pollution & has destroyed the majority of the coral reef system & harmed sealife…we advocated for it’s closure to tourists!
They Listened & it has now been closed for rejuvenation and has become a protected area! See CNN News for details. and Save Maya Bay.
Maya Bay is now closed to Tourists & Visitors. In Order to Protect the delicate Eco System & Coral Reef. Town & Tourist campaigned for it’s closure for years, in order to protect it for future generations.
We also have proudly promoted the unique Underwater Music Festival in Florida, due to the festivals ethics towards helping to conserve the Pacific Coral Reef System. Members of the T&T even took part in the largest Vegan Rally in Old Town Square!
